ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS Archbishop Stepinac High School awards merit-based Academic scholarships to incoming freshmen each year. The process is competitive and is solely determined on the applicant pool of eligible students.
On Monday, January 6, 2025,
Archbishop Stepinac High School will host a scholarship exam for academically
qualified students. The exam is scheduled to begin at 4pm and takes
approximately one to two hours to complete.
Be advised that this is subject to change. Complete the Scholarship Exam Application and return to our Admissions Office by Tuesday, January 2, 2025.
Academic Scholarship Eligibility Requirements: 1. Register for one (1) of the high school admissions tests. An admissions test is required to be considered for an academic scholarship.

2. Complete an Application of Admissions to the Archbishop
Stepinac High School online.
3. Submit 7th
grade and first quarter 8th grade report cards. The student’s current principal must sign the form indicating that the student has a current minimum grade average of 90%. The fee to sit for the exam is $30. Payment must be completed online at www.whqlhg.com/scholarshipexam BEFORE a student can sit for the exam on January 6th. Students are required to bring their own #2 pencils and a calculator on the day of the exam as we will not be able to provide these items and students are not permitted to share or use any other electronic devices during the exam. Based on the student’s Scholarship Exam score, Admissions exam results and report card, Archbishop Stepinac High School will offer merit-based academic scholarships. Stepinac will not share any exam scores or ranks with applicants or families. Scholarships are communicated with admissions decisions via email and hard copy letter on January 22, 2025. Amounts range from full scholarships to academic awards. Scholarship amounts do not increase year to year. Students must maintain a B cumulative average in order to maintain their scholarship.
The deadline to accept an Academic Scholarship is February 7, 2025.
