Archbishop Stepinac High School is centrally located in the heart of Westchester and is accessible by public transportation—Metro-North Railroad and the Bee Line Bus System. Stepinac also offers private bus transportation and has established several convenient bus stops in the Bronx, Yonkers, Riverdale, Northern Westchester, and Connecticut. Stepinac is always willing to increase the number of stops on our Private Bus routes. For this to happen, there must be a sufficient number of students who are willing to commit to the “NEW” stop for the entire school year. If you have any questions please contact Sherry Collins at Speno Law According to the provisions of the Speno Law, bus transportation is available to students who attend nonpublic schools if they reside more than 3 miles and not more than 15 miles from the school. Applications must be submitted to the local public school district in which they reside prior to April 1st to be eligible for the next year. To ascertain the Public School District in whose jurisdiction you reside, check with your local public school, or check the receipt of your school tax. Yonkers and New Rochelle do not provide this service. Specifically the #60, #20 and #40. These routes all come into White Plains and are frequently used by Stepinac students.From Yonkers Students who board the bus at Saw Mill River Road and Odell Avenue in Yonkers (Homefield Bowl) will take route #5 bus to White Plains Terminal. At this point they will transfer to the route # 60 bus to Stepinac. The route #6 buses will start from Yonkers railroad station and proceed to White Plains Terminal. At this point, route #6 will continue to Stepinac via route #60. Students will be required to purchase a transfer. For information regarding schedules and fare call 1-800-METRO INFO. Harlem Line stops include Fordham & Webster, Botanical Gardens and Mosholu Parkway, Williamsbridge and Woodlawn. From Yonkers Many students from the eastern part of Yonkers use the Metro-North Harlem Line to get to school. To register for a monthly Metro-North pass: 1. Go to the Metro-North Rail website and follow the instructions to create an “E-tix” account 2.
